PLANNING WORKBENCH

Explore your own conditions.

Explore how ownership costs and service cycles change with your assumptions.

All defaults are illustrative assumptions, not specifications, market prices or recommended application rates. Replace them with measured data and quotations. Inputs are not sent to a server.
01 / OWN OR HIRE

Ownership versus hiring

Annual cost = (purchase − residual) / years + fixed cost + variable cost × treated area Break-even area = (annualized capital + fixed cost) / (hire price − variable cost)

Three treatments of the same field count as three times its area. Include insurance, storage and annual software in fixed costs; labor, batteries, energy, travel, cleaning and analysis in variable costs. This model excludes tax, financing, subsidies, yield gains and discounting. Any excluded product costs must be comparable across both options.

02 / THE WHOLE SERVICE CYCLE

Turnaround and effective capacity

Area/sortie = min(payload / volume, speed × swath × flight seconds / 10,000) Cycle capacity = area × 60 / (working flight + transit/turns + ground min) Charging supply = area × 60 × charging slots / charge min Estimated capacity = min(cycle capacity, charging supply)

A simplified single-aircraft, steady-state model. Enter productive flight and nonproductive transit/turning time separately. It assumes adequate charging power and no additional liquid or staffing queues. Battery count uses the charging-constrained launch cadence and assumes cooling then charging begin after ground service. It excludes reserve, thermal contingency and aircraft-specific safety margins. This is not a flight-authorization or safety tool.
